Astra is installed directly onto the wall using mirror-safe silicone adhesive. Each mirror is pressed firmly into place on temporary timber supports, with packers between the panels and painter's tape holding the mirrors while the silicone cures. Professional installation is recommended.
Packers are placed between each mirror during installation, leaving a tiny gap between the panels. The packers are removed once the silicone has fully cured.
Cure time depends on the silicone used. Leave the timber supports, painter's tape and packers in place until it has fully cured, following the silicone manufacturer's instructions.
Use a mirror-safe silicone adhesive, such as Gunther Premier Plus Mirror Mastic, and follow the adhesive manufacturer's application requirements.
